Feb. 6, 2024 Newsletter

FEBRUARY 6, 2024.  Fellow Oenophiles and Lovers of Nature:

We are currentlly changing our ticket menu for 2024, as follows:

Beverage Tickets:  Beverage Tickets are new and now available on days the wine shop is open without outside live music.   An example is this coming Wednesday, February 7th:  the live music has been weather-cancelled but there are those who may want to just socialize on the patio areas with their favorite LBAV beverages and enjoy some outdoor cooking and nature’s beauty.  A Beverage Ticket let’s you do just that.  See more on Beverage Tickets at:   Beverage Tickets

Wine Tasting Tickets:  are now untethered from admission fees.  Your Wine Tasting ticket is your access to a fun-filled wine experience with Janet and Susanne, as well as to the vineyard grounds.   Live music may, or may not, be available on the day of your Wine Tasting.  However, your Wine Tasting is priced the same regardless of what day you attend.

Admission Tickets:  Are used for Vineyard access on days we offer live music.  As always, the Admission ticket cost is refunded if music is weather-cancelled (this occurred several times in 2023)

Our Ticketing System:  It’s primary purpose is as a tool to determine staffing and food/beverage needs based on Customer attendance.  Customer Walk-ins bypass this planning tool and as a result account for our biggest event uncertainty.  Yet, I find it difficult to turn away anyone who has taken the time and made the effort to visit us.  The walk-in prices are 40+ % higher to encourage the use of our online ticket system.  Online tickets are almost always available several weeks in advance, and always up to the day prior to our events.  So please help us help you.  Purchase your tickets online, save dollars and make our lives a wee bit easier.

By the way:  Our ticket booking fee is 10% in lieu of 10.5% state & local taxes.  I just now checked the booking fee at a local theater… $39.  Or 28% of the ticket price.
I’m glad we had this chance to chat. I do look forward to seeing all in the coming months.  The next newsletter will be this Thursday with an update on the latest at La Belle Amie Vineyard.  Safe travels to all.  Cheers!  Vicki, Owner

Tickets for events beyond this week are currently in abeyance as we continue our ticket modifications.  Next week’s tickets should be available in a few days.
